Soapstone
|
The new fashion
trend - Soapstone - has been heavily introduced
into the kitchen and bath market in recent months.
Different then marble and granite, soapstone is
non-porous. It is completely stain resistant, making
it ideal for kitchen, bathroom, laundry room and
bar.
The durability of soapstone, however, is comparable
to granite and marble. All from quarries from around
the world, soapstone is found in two styles. Artistic,
which is softer, and architectural, which is harder,
are comprised of talc, quartz and various impure
minerals compressed over millions of years in the
earth. Direct from Brazil, GranTops is proud to
present soapstone, imported for your countertop
pleasure.

To provide a learning opportunity to architects,
designers, K & B dealers and trade professionals,
GranTops and its exotic granite affiliate, Ston’Art
Galleria, is working in partnership with Milanez-Milaneze,
the Brazil Granite Fair organizer. Milestone
Program is the only award program for the trade
professionals to be able to visit Brazil and
learn more about granite.
In order to learn about new ornamental stone
trends it is imperative for the trade professionals
to participate in the Vitoria Granite Show. Therefore,
GranTops will be sponsoring 02 Brazilian fair
trips per year: Vitoria Granite Fair – Fev.
22-25 and Cachoeiro Granite Fair – Aug.
