Aquiraz (Frederick’s Brazilian Sister City) is SMILING, with help from MIssionServ

Fifteen dentists from Fort Lauderdale, Florida are spending 10 days in Aquiraz this month and anticipate tending to 500 people with routine maintenance, prevention classes and urgent dental care.

Making a difference in people lives is not only taking care of their food and clothing needs, but also tending to their smiles!  Aquiraz Missionserv staff is investing time and support in dental maintenance and preventative care, to keep those smiles beautiful and healthy!

Granite 101 Training Seminar

Together with the Frederick Sister Cities Association (FSCA), GRANTOPS invites you to Brazil Day on Sunday September 9th, along Carroll Creek in downtown Frederick.  Enjoy music, food and fashion celebrating Brazil’s beauty, natural and cultural diversity. Judges award a prize to best regional performer. Participate in a live auction.

Brazil Day proceeds benefit the FSCA and special projects providing medical aid and education and supporting cultural exchange between Frederick and its Sister City, Aquiraz.  The activities begin at noon and end at 6pm.  We are looking for sponsors.
