Enormous possibilities of business, variety of colors, millions of creative ideas for granite for all in one show: Vitoria Stone Fair. “There is nothing like this experience, I can show all my pictures and nothing is like being there yourself.” The excitement of the group this year was incredible. It was really a nice opportunity to immerse in this stone world for the GranTops group. The group visited the fair 3 days, and enjoyed the good Capixaba(local cuisine) cuisine at evenings. The last day in Vitoria, we visited the biggest stone wholesaler facility in the area, Zucchi, and were able to learn how stone in a quarry becomes a granite slab to be shipped to US market or around the world.
The whole experience is not only about natural stone, is also about being in another country, another culture. "Brazil is a vibrant and fascinating country... the people are warm and friendly... and the Vitoria Stone Fair was a sophisticated presentation of the international market for exotic stone craftsmanship. Choosing the best layout –
American Kitchen Design
Ston’Art Galleria team comes back from Vitoria Stone Fair proud and happy to be the promoter of the well started partnership between Home & Design Magazine and Milanez Milaneze. The partnership consists of a contest promoted by the magazine to interior designers and architects. The contestants have to create and send a layout of an American kitchen to be built and shown in the following fair.
The most creative and voted layout project will be the winner. Moreover, the professional responsible for that layout will get to spend 5 days in Brazil at the Vitoria Stone Fair and will have his project as a focal point of the Fair. The idea of American Kitchen happened because 80 % of the Granite that leaves Brazil goes to the American market to become American kitchen countertops. The 2007 show had presented the well created kitchen from Studio Nuovo by Ricardo Ramos and Sheree Friedman. Watch for the Home & Design Magazine and be a part of the American Kitchen Design Contest, and win an international learning opportunity trip.
