As we move into a new year of growth, Grantops, and its employees welcomes a new year to learn new techniques and opportunity to educate employees, vendors, and clients. Our February speaker was Dr. Nilo Sergio Volenza. Nilo has traveled abroad and has given several seminars focusing on emotional intelligence. Emotional intelligence teaches us how to maintain a balance of emotions in adverse situations. He also explained how management can use tools of emotional intelligence to create a work environment that is rewarding and positive in nature. In turn your company will be more productive and a place where employees are apt to stay. His most important saying is that a smile comes through in all of your communications and doesn’t cost anything to use!
